Two Air Gunners and good friends who crewed up and survived the war together.

Wally and Cam, as they called each other, met at #3 Manning Depot in Edmonton, Alberta and stayed together in the long trek across Canada, through various stops to the UK, completing their time until the end of the war at Skipton-on-Swale.

When Wally declined to be a Rear Gunner, Cam stepped up, so that they could crew together, Wally as Mid-Upper Gunner where he could see the horizon, and Cam guarding their tail as the Rear Gunner.
