Sergeant Robert Clarke Green, a young man from Elbow, Saskatchewan trained as an Air Gunner and attended No. 3 B&G school with many of the aircrew from this site. He graduated from Course 72 on March 9, 1944. Click here to see the Graduation program with his name mentioned. Upon Graduation, Sergeant Green was eventually posted overseas and trained on Wellington's at #24 OTU Honeybourne, again with many aircrew from this site. Wellington aircraft #MK 520 crashed near the Norne Farm, Stuntney, Ely, Cambridgeshire, England. Killed were: Sgt. William Stocks Paton (N) Sgt Robert Clarke Green (AG) Sgt. A.D. Daniels FS. J.L. Murray F/O J.M. Rinahan Robert Clarke Green is the son of Robert James Green and Ella Mae Green of Elbow, Saskatchewan, Canada. He is buried in Brookwood Military Cemetery in section 43.E.1.
