Sergeant William Stocks Paton from Toronto, Ontario trained as a Navigator and crewed up with Sergeant Robert Clarke Green who had attended No 3. Bombing and Gunnery School with many aircrew from this site.

Upon Graduation, Sergeant Paton was posted overseas and trained on Wellington's at #24 OTU Honeybourne, again with many aircrew from this site.

Wellington aircraft #MK 520 crashed near the Norne Farm, Stuntney, Ely, Cambridgeshire, England.

William Stocks Paton is the son of Thomas and Isabella Paton of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is buried in Brookwood Military Cemetery in section 43.D.10.
